Hero Splendor Xtec 2.0: On the occasion of Splendor's 30th anniversary, Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Hero Splendor Plus. The bike is priced at Rs 82,911 (ex-showroom). This bike is priced Rs 3,000 more expensive than the existing model and is offered in three colour options - mostly Matte Grey, Gloss Black and Gloss Red. The new Splendor Plus will compete with the Honda Shine 100, Bajaj CT 100 and the TVS Radeon.
With some minor cosmetic updates and additional features, the Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 looks similar to the previous model. It gets the same classic design with square headlamp, but comes with H-shaped DRL with LED unit, making it the only 100 cc bike to be offered with LED headlamp. The colours and graphics look new and so does the new design of the indicator housing.
Specifications and Features
The bike also gets a digital instrument cluster that gives mileage-related information. In this powerful bike you get many features like side-stand indicator, speedometer, odometer, trip meter and low fuel indicator readout, Bluetooth connectivity with call and message alerts, USB charging port etc. In this bike, customers are going to see a dedicated switch for washing hands.
Engine and
Splendor Plus engine comes with a 4-speed gearbox and also gets i3s (Idle Stop Start System) technology. The capacity of its fuel tank is 9.8. The company claims that the bike is capable of giving a mileage of 73 kilometers per liter.
